Ada Quessenberry (Stage Manager, 11) is so excited to be on the stage management team for Anything Goes! This is Ada's fourth time doing tech at Sehome, his previous favorite role was running lights for Hadestown. Outside of theatre he enjoys to read and craft.

 

Becca Byykkonen (Reno’s Angel/Reno U/S, 12) is excited for you to see the show! She plans to go to WCC for college next year. You might have seen her as Constance in 3M, a Featured Dancer in Hadestown, or as Mrs. Bumbrake in PATSC. Outside of theatre she loves playing games with her brother, hanging out with friends, and crocheting. She thanks her family and friends for all the support!

 

Bee Johnson (Reno's Angel Charity, 10) has had so much fun getting to dance with such an amazing group of people! Bee will be a State Thespian Officer next school year for WA State Thespians. They look forward to being able to serve the theater community. Bee wants to shout out her wonderful parents, and her grandma Anita.

 

Callum Brown (Fred and Young Swell, 10) is super excited for his first full show after his stage debut at this year's 24 Hour Play Festival. He's looking forward to being an initiated thespian and spending the summer drawing and watching cartoons. He wants to say 'Thanks!' to Ryley for all the help with the dances.

 

Camryn Samuels (Costume Manager, 12) has had so much fun working on Reno and Hope’s costumes for this show! Returning to costumes as their last show was such a treat as it’s how they started theatre in the 3rd grade with Dana at BAAY. They are looking forward to going to PSU for Architecture in the fall with the Honor’s College. Thank you mom for their ‘78 Bernina Nova it pulled them through this show!

 

CeCe Newman (Hope Harcourt, 11) is so excited to be in Anything Goes! Her previous roles include Captain Slank in Peter and the Starcatcher and Fate 1 in Hadestown. This is her 6th show with Sehome Drama. She is looking forward to competing at the International Thespian Festival in June. When she is not doing drama, she loves singing in choir, organizing her Calico Critters, and watching My Little Pony. She would like to shout out Julietta Herrera for being an amazing friend, giving her rides, and always helping her with her music.

 

Celia Higgins (Light Board Operator, 11) is excited to run lights for Anything Goes. She has done sound for all her past shows, and so is delighted to try something new. She is looking forward to summer, when AP tests are over. When not in the theater, she enjoys playing basketball, baking, and hanging out with friends. Celia would like to shout out her fellow crew and cast, for bringing joy to such a stressful time.

 

Charlotte Petersen (Sailor, 9) is so excited to be a part of the Anything Goes cast. This is her first Sehome play and she’s really enjoying this community. When she’s not acting she’s drawing and playing video games. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her.

Chelsea Li (Props Master, 11): This is Chelsea's first major role on the technical side of theater and she had a lot of fun with the experience! Earlier this year, Chelsea competed in Thespys and played Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher. This summer between planning on watching the circus, attending Ren Faire, and hosting a TTRPG, they may be becoming more of a nerd than ever thought possible.

 

Chloe Skywalker (Costume Manager, 11) loves the sparkles and glamour of this show. She’s worked on all past 5 shows on costuming for Sehome Drama. She’s looking forward to another year at Sehome Drama and can’t wait to see the costumes on stage! Outside of drama she spends her time doing art, and reading! She would like to shout out her amazing friends who have either helped with the production, or supported her outside of it, and her family!

 

Claire Hill (Captain, 12) is so excited to share this amazing show with you! You've seen her most recently as Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher. She'll be saying bon voyage and moving to California to attend AMDA next year for acting. She'd like to shout out her parents for always supporting her endeavors and the angels for being her wig styling guinea pigs!

 

Danylo Krets (Minister/Passenger, 9) hopes that people enjoy the show thoroughly! This is a really fun show!

 

Diego Stiles (Passenger, 10) hopes you love seeing Anything Goes as much as she enjoyed being in it! You might recognize her from her performance as a Pirate in Peter and the Starcatcher. She's already excited for next year's State Thespian Festival and planning what she's going to wear. She sends love to her friends from other schools that came all this way to support her.

 

Eliza Kelliher (Reno’s Angel Virtue, 9) is so happy to be a part of Sehome's Anything Goes! This is her first time being in a production and she has loved getting to meet so many new people! When she isn't at rehearsal, she's dancing at the dance studio!! Eliza is so excited for you to come see Anything Goes!

 

Eliza Nelson-King (Passenger, 9) has had so much fun in her first show at Sehome. Everyone is so kind and talented and she has felt very welcomed. She cannot wait for participating in future shows!

 

Elizabeth Haynes (Passenger, 10) is excited for Anything Goes. This is her first production. She is looking forward to participating in future productions, and in her free time she likes to sing and hang out with friends.

 

Hana Holland (Sailor Cadet, 10) is so excited to perform Anything Goes! She often switches between helping out as tech backstage to joining her friends in acting onstage. When she’s not busy at afterschool rehearsals, you can find her at sports games improving her sports medicine skills! She looks forward to many more exciting shows, and would love to thank her sister who always supports her in everything she does.

Henry Hughes (Passenger, 9) enjoys how fun the tenor parts of the songs are. He is super excited for this to be the first show he is in. He is looking forward to the cast party and summer beach days! Something about him is that he is super outgoing so please come say hi! Shout out to Wyatt H you are doing so good with your tapping!

 

Hogan Holland (Head Sound, 10) is excited for Anything Goes. His favorite show was the last musical Hadestown.

 

Holden Beam (Purser, 9) is glad that you came to see Anything Goes. He’s been in other shows, including Annie, The Music Man, and Peter and the Starcatcher. Outside of the theater, he runs Dungeons and Dragons sessions for his friends. Holden would like to thank his parents for their support in this show.

 

Isla Louws (Passenger, 9) has enjoyed being in Anything Goes so much this year! This is her fifth musical, along with Aristocats, Jungle Book, Snow Queen and Pippi Long Stockings at BAAY. Something that she is looking forward to in the future is continuing to do drama and singing at Sehome. She would love to give a shout out to her friends, family and arts teachers for encouraging her to pursue her love for the stage!

 

Jackie Dang (Moonface Martin, 12) is excited for Anything Goes! This is his first time being a leading character in a show and this his second and last performance here at Sehome. Last fall, he made his stage acting debut as Fighting Prawn in Peter and The Starcatcher. Outside of the arts he is involved with many clubs like Young Multiracial Society, Peer Centered Outreach, and Art Club while also working at a restaurant. He’s excited about attending Western Washington University and continuing his passion for the arts and English. He wants to thank everyone who has made him feel so welcomed into this theater!

 

Julietta Sophia Herrera (Reno Sweeney, 12) feels extremely grateful and lucky to be able to let go and have fun in this role. From Chorn, to Boss Weasel and even a Fate, she’s never felt more joy than being a part of this theatre community. Without theatre, Julietta claims she would have never found her passion in singing. She credits all the performing arts teachers she’s ever had for pushing her to explore music further and build confidence. Next year she plans to major in Vocal Performance at Western Washington University.

 

Kandace McGowan (Director) has been directing & teaching at Sehome since 2013. This is her 25th Sehome production. Education: WWU (Master’s in Teaching), Santa Clara University (BA Theatre Arts, BS Psychology), Universidad de Alicante, Broadway Teacher’s Workshop, International Thespian Festival. Awards: Inspirational Teacher Award (WA Thespians), Premiere Community for Theater Education (Educational Theater Association). She is the North Regional Director for WA Thespian Association. When not doing theater, you’ll find her feeding her sourdough starter and reading.

 

Kathrine McArdle (Deck Crew, 11) is so excited to see Anything Goes come to life. Later this year, they will be going to the International Thespian Festival to further their future in Theater. Kathrine would like to thank their parents for supporting their pursuits.

 

Keldon Loder (Deck Crew, 12) is excited to help present Anything Goes. He has done spotlight operator and light board previously and is looking forward to learning a new tech role for this show. Outside of theatre he enjoys walking around the arboretum and being alright at Dark Souls.

 

Kian Monsef (Billy Crocker, 10) is very grateful to have the opportunity to play Billy in Anything Goes and has had tons of fun through the show process. He was Aramis in The Three Musketeers, a Worker in Hadestown, and Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher. He will be finishing high school at Idyllwild Arts in California for his junior and senior year to grow as an actor. Kian would like to thank all of his peers, the McGowans, and his family for all the support.

 

Laura McGowan (Tech Director) has been leading the technical program at Sehome since 2014. This is her 25th show at Sehome. She is a member of the United States Institute of Theater Technicians (USITT), Women In Tech, and the Educational Theater Association (ETA). She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Theater Studies in Production & Design at Southern Oregon University, trained at Western Washington University and attended The Broadway Teacher’s Workshop in NYC. When not doing theater, you’ll find her fixing things in the theater.

 

Linus van Pelt (Sailor, 9) is super excited for their second show on the Sehome stage! Their first show was Peter and the Starcatcher, and they loved every part of it. When not in the theater, they enjoy crafting, art, and finding shiny trinkets at thrift stores. They'd like to thank their family and their friends for always being there for them and supporting them!

 

Lucita O'Dell (Passenger, 10) is so excited to perform in her second show at Sehome High School. She would like to thank all of her fellow cast members who have helped make this show an incredible experience. Her favorite thing is being social and theater has been an incredible way to meet new awesome people! Lucita is thrilled to present to you Anything Goes the musical.

 

Lux Leighton (Deck Crew, 11) is very excited for his first tech show, Anything Goes. He was recently acted as a narrator in Sehome High School’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher. He’s looking forward to Sehome Drama’s end of the year showcase. Outside of theater, Lux has a passion for film. He’s grateful for his parents’ constant support.

 

Marleigh Madrona (Erma LaTour/Vocal Captain, 11) has absolutely adored being in Anything Goes this spring! In the past, they had been in Peter and The Starcatcher, Hadestown, and all sorts of Sehome shows. Marleigh is looking forward to their senior year and hopes the shows will be something like Into The Woods, or Grease. Marleigh would like to shout out their mom: Tracy. Their mom has put so much effort and time into this show, and shows previous, and there can’t be enough thanks for her.

Mateo Esquivel (Deck Crew, 11) is looking forward to doing this show with his friends. He’s done Deck Crew for Hadestown and Peter & The Starcatcher. He can’t wait to go home after each show and play war thunder.

 

Maude Stafford-Edwards (Assistant Sound, 9) absolutely ADORES the music in this show, though the songs are nothing compared to Peter and the Starcatcher's Mermaid Song! They are looking forward to getting a chance to continue writing and directing short films with they're friends during the summer. Shout out to everyone who helped them into the theater/drama community this year <3

 

Milo Chervenock-Johnson (Deck Crew, 9) is so excited to be part of the Anything Goes crew! He's similarly worked on Peter and the Starcatcher and is looking forward to future productions! When he's not in school, Milo loves to read. Shout-out to his friends for being so supportive!

 

Mira Adams (Reno’s Angel Chastity, 12) has loved getting the opportunity to learn new styles of dance and participate in one of her favorite musicals. You may have seen her over the summer in BAAY’s Chicago or as Hermes in Sehome’s Hadestown. She is incredibly thankful for all the years of memories she has made in Sehome Drama and although she is excited to attend the University of Portland for Elementary Education, she will miss everyone terribly. Thanks to those who made this show so special and thank you to McGowan and Laura for their unwavering support always.

 

Noa Schneekloth (Spit, 10) is excited for the show! This is his second time acting at Sehome and his 4th show at Sehome. He’s looking forward to Summer this year, going to Bloedel Donovan with my friends and Junior year. Shout out to Oliver, my Cat Atticus, and my family. He loves you all!

 

Nova D. Holland (Stage Manager, 10) is excited to be a stage manager for Anything Goes! She has done deck crew for three shows, and her favorite show was Hadestown. Beyond theater, she enjoys cooking and reading. She would like to thank her parents/family for all they sacrifice for her and she would like to thank her friends who she loves and will miss so much!!

 

Oliver Lacki (Dippy, 10) is overjoyed to participate in Anything Goes this year as Dippy with their best friend Noa as Spit! They have had such a wonderful time doing this show thus far and can’t wait to share it with everyone. They loved being a new actor in Hadestown and Peter and the Starcatcher last year, and can’t wait to continue to pursue acting in the coming years. Outside of theatre, Oliver does many kinds of art such as painting and song writing. They also enjoy outdoor hiking and bird watching during the warmer months. They are looking forward to next years Thespys competition and performing a musical piece for the first time. Shout out to Noa for being the best scene partner and duo ever!

 

Phoebe Kaestelic (Passenger, 10) feels like this show has been one of her favorite shows yet She loves all the people she’s met this year and all those new the Sehome theater! She can’t wait to see what shows we do next year!

 

Ryley Mcpherson (Evangeline Harcourt, 11) is so excited to be performing in Sehome High School’s Anything Goes. She loves watching Supernatural with her grandma, spending time with her parents and giving attention to her cat. Some things she has been in include, SpongeBob the Musical (Sandy), Peter and the Starcatcher's (Narrator and Captain Scott) alongside a plethora of many other amazing shows. Ryley would like to thank her parents for always supporting her and her grandma for being so… entertaining.

 

Sadie Mueller (Old Lady in Wheelchair, FBI Agent, Passenger, 10) is excited for Anything Goes. When not at home or at rehearsals Sadie loves to be with friends and go fishing! She wants to thank everyone for being so supportive!

 

Sarah Pringle (Choreographer) has loved working with the talented cast of "Anything Goes"! She has previously choreographed for Ferndale's high school, middle school, and summer theater programs. Favorite previous choreo credits include "The Phantom of the Opera", "Tarzan", "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame". She would like to applaud the cast for their incredible hard work on this notoriously difficult show, and she knows you will be just as blown away by their performance as she has been. 

 

Silas Marston (Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, 11) has had so much fun doing this show! You may have seen Silas in plays at the firehouse, on the Sehome stage, or juggling at the Circus Guild. This summer, Silas will be returning to the three weeklong Circus Smirkus camp in Vermont. Silas is the president of the SHS Juggling Club and has taught numerous peers and adults to juggle. Silas is the current vice president of this drama troupe.

 

Sofia Darling (Sailor Cadet, 9) has had an absolute BLAST putting together Anything Goes and is absolutely enthralled to perform it! She also played a sailor in the fall play, so she’s getting pretty good at this role. When she’s not doing theater, she’s probably 5 aisles deep in a thrift store with no sign of leaving anytime soon. She is very excited for next year’s theater season, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

 

Soren Melland (Spot 2, 11) is excited for this show. In previous shows, Soren has been an ASM, Props/Weapons manager, and Deck crew twice. Outside of theatre, Soren enjoys being worse at Silksong than Chelsea.

 

Suki Noel (Spotlight Operator, 10) loved building this fun set! She also did deck crew in Peter and the Starcatcher. As a lifelong artist (working in many mediums), she loves doing tech, being around so many other creative minds and she can't wait for another great show. She’s so excited to show off all our amazing singers in another great show!

 

Tori Rose (Deck Crew, 9) Is incredibly excited to once again participate in Sehome Drama. She has been involved in theater and other forms of performing arts since the third grade and loves helping out with any sort of production, concert, or video. Outside of school you'll find her listening to music, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and doing any craft she can. She wants to thank her friends for making her drama experience what it is.

 

Tyler Stockburger (Deck Crew, 9) is looking forward to getting to know the cast and crew better. This is his first production. Outside of theater, he likes karate, video games, and sleeping. He's excited to sleep a lot this summer and have a break from school. He's also excited to get his driver's license in August.

 

Vanessa Katz (Musical Director) is thrilled to share Anything Goes with you! She previously vocal directed Hadestown last spring and is the current choir teacher at Sehome. In the late 1900s she loved to perform in her own high school productions, culminating with the role of Miss Sarah Brown in “Guys and Dolls”.  Recently her most dynamic role has been that of “mom-who-works-as-a-music-teacher”.  Ms. Katz would like to thank her family and her water bottle for their unconditional support.  

 

Virginia Page (Stage Manager, 11) is so excited to be on the stage manager team for Anything Goes! This is Virginia’s sixth show at Sehome and she is looking forward to going on road trips this summer! When not in the theater, Virginia plays tennis and reads!

 

Will McGough (Sailor, 9) is thrilled for his debut performance here at Sehome High School in Anything Goes. Previous roles he's had in his nearly 9 years of acting experience at BAAY include King Louie in The Jungle Book and Charles Deetz in Beetlejuice Jr. Outside of theatre, he's a dedicated runner and can often be found on various trails throughout Bellingham. He'd love to thank his mom for driving him the long distance to rehearsal daily.

 

William D'Angelo (Elisha Whitney, 12) is very excited to row on the crew for Anything Goes! His previous roles include Peter Pan in Starcatcher and George in Our Town. He will be attending PSU Honors in the coming fall to study law. When he's not gallivanting on stage, you can find him doing the crossword or struggling with writer's block. Will would like to shout out Pitpot (his croc) and Mira Adams (his better half) for always being more dependable than the sun rising in the west. BOW WOW WOW!!!

 

Wyatt Huntley (Sailor, 9) is so excited for this show. This musical has taught him so much, including the amazing fact that he can dance!! And he loves it! He has met so many amazing talented people and gotten closer with everyone in general. Shout out to all his family who helped him get around and all his sailors being the BEST partners!

 

Zyanya Renteria (Passenger, 9) is thrilled to show you Anything Goes! She absolutely loved Peter and the Starcatcher and this year's 24-hour Play Festival. When not in school, Zyanya enjoys drawing and making gifts for others. Zyanya can't wait to explore all of Washington in summer! She wants to give a shout-out to her mom, for always encouraging her passions!
